Helpful Tips:
LabPair saves post drafts here. If you don't have time to complete a post, you can always pick up where you left off.
If your posts contain similar information, choose the "Copy" option to save time
This is the first stage in a multi-step process to collect information about your data/samples
Don't have time to finish? No problem! A draft of your post will be saved the "Posts" menu
Note that most fields are optional- only fill out what applies to your particular resources.
1) Saved Profiles. Profiles that have been saved using the "save profile" bookmark button that appears when viewing someone else's profile.
Use "save profile" to keep track of people you may interested in working with but don't actually know
2) Close Colleagues. Individuals that you know if real life or that you have worked with in the past. Close Colleague connections must be requested.
Use mutual Close Colleagues to learn more about potential collaborators before extending an official offer of collaboration.
We know the door is always open for the perfect collaborations; however, some people are more open to collaboration proposals than others based on their level of staffing, funding, workload, or other external factors.
"Collaboration bandwidth" gives potential collaborators a sense of how likely you are to initiate a new research partnership.
